I just got my cat brakes in, and i wanted to know if anyone has tried the carbon brake pads from B-T-P. i was thinking of getting them, does anyone know where they sell them and how good are they on alu. rims?

Would be nice to save 40g if they work well.

No, they're not made from Carbon.
It guess it's some sort of cork.
The pads come from Corima:

Price is 69 Euro.

Bets combonation of lightness comes from using the standard pads in front, and aztec Ti in reat, but you only saving 10g and lossing braking performance. Just use the stock, brake pads are not a place to skimp on.

Remember when I had the CAT claws? I used the standard pads, aztec, and comonation of both. Standard cartridge pads are the best, but I would switch the pads with kool stop for even better stopping power and excellent modulation.
