I am looking for a road frame . i am riding a Trek 1.9 aluminum and i am thinking to go for a Carbon frame.
I am not so experienced with bikes but i like a lot cycling the last 8 months and i was thinking Specialized tarmac expert ( Frame only )
So i would like to learn ur opinion or to suggest something else not so expensive !! thanxs

How much are looking at spending? The Tarmac line is awesome, and what sort of drivetrain are you going to use? I've got a Tarmac and that bike just works for me, its wonderful.

And what frames/makers do you really not want to ride?
How does the trek fit you?
What sort of riding/racing do you plan on doing? Hills or mostly flat?
What sort of roads in your area?
Lots to consider, you have to give us more to work with so we know your needs/desires.

Thanxs for ur answer
I am planning to take place in some Brevets ( i dont think i can race )
The roads here are mostly flat So....
I dont know many about geoemetry but i think Tarmac would be okey with long headtube. ( My TREK is 58cm )
I am planning to spend about 1500-1700 euro.
I can also find Brands :TIME , Cannondale ,ORBEA , TREK, Wilier , Focus , isaac

Are the roads in mostly good condition? No cobbles and not too cracked up??
I'm surprised more people in Europe don't look at Canyon. What country are you in? I could be wrong but buying a local brand might save you some money? You just listed French, American, Spanish, German, and Italian brands....
Would you be preferring a bit more comfort over race position and sprint/hill climb stiffness?

Possibly one of the best frames out there (according to other users and magazine tests). Incredibly cheap too!

I just bought one myself!
The Trek you have is pretty decent I would say. Stick to Trek and upgrade if you have a burning desire to really upgrade. Switching brands can be entirely different ball game unless you have already got the most out of your Trek. But if not, why not..so you've got a way to go before upgrading?
