Is it actually available anywhere?
For so long it was only listed, but not in production, and now I can't even get the link on the TrueTemper site to work.
Does anyone have a detailed photo of the clamp/head?

My scale is accurate only +/- 5 grams, but my Pro Lite post weighed 135 grams. The clamp is easy to use. The only downside is that it doesn't look as cool as my Easton EC90 post. But I think the AL clamp will be better in the long run than the carbon clamp on the EC90.

I thinking in use it on my new CAAD 8.Anybody can tell if the Aliante Carbon saddle will fit fine with it
I still have it. I will try to get a picture.
I bought it from QBP (I work at a shop), so you should be able to buy it from any decent bike shop.

Can you possibly photo the clamp/head?
Where did you buy it?
Thanks.
Mine lasted 2 rides before the head self destructed. Very poor design. I do weigh 185lbs so I might be too heavy for it.
Luckily I bought it from Performace 3 or so months ago, so I could return it for a full refund. I now use a Selcof MC-03, much better design.

Are there any other updates/experiences on this post? I'm still interested.
ottodog, what happened? The head snapped or the bolt?
Is the head carbon or alloy? I wish someone could post a close-up photo....

The head looks way too smal, To me anyways......

It uses a single bolt type clamp. I tend to sit aft on my saddle when climbing. The pressure caused the lower clamp piece to deform enough that the serrations the hold the saddle angle stripped out. The failure caused the saddle to point straght up. Not totally a catastrophic failure, but definately a failure. The clamp pieces are very lite-weight, so there is alot of fore-aft (nose up and down) play in the saddle. If you tend to move alot on your saddle, I would look elsewhere.
Hard to explain clearly, guess i should have taken a pic.

No, I understand, thanks.
Is the head carbon or alloy?
I do wish I could see a close-up, but even the stock photo Paco posted shows a pretty minimal head...that whole end looks pretty under-engineered. I don't think I'll be buying it, too bad.
And the seatpost link no longer works for me on the True Temper site; maybe they have discontinued it?

Alloy, and very lite-weight. Too bad because it did weigh 132.4g.
The Selcof is working much better.
