Where can I get the bolt dimentions to upgrade my current set-up?
Where can I buy nylon and titanium bolts (UK)?
At which points can I use nylon and where titanium?
Any other obvious changes to reduce weight?
I can already thinkof BB / tyres / saddle / USE post / wheels maybe
My current set-up:
Spec M5 '04 Frame - HT
Thompson Elite post
Sellia Italia gel trans am saddle
EA50 Stem
EC70 Bar
XT Shifters (still with pods)
Hope mini's
RC31 ridgid forks
XT hubs / DT rev spokes / X517 rims
Panaracer Fire XC Pro tyres - what lighweight alternative is there that can also handle MUD. I'm concerned that twister superconics have littel grip.
Maxxiss flylight tubes (only 90g each)
Hope ti QR's
'03 XT Hollowtech Crankset
XT BB
M959 Peddles (a friend had trouble with egg beaters!)
XT chain
'03 XTR rear derailler
XT cassette
thanks

Try B&Q or any decent DIY store for the nylon bolts, if you intend to use them in your water bottle cage mounts then do not run a cage with a bottle they are simply not strong enough.
Try a search in google for 'ti bolts' there is a good online shop however I cannot remember the name to hand.
Or DavidG recommends a guy on ebay who is UK based and sells ti bolts, his username is: bikebolts

The saddle is a heavy one to! See if you can get a speedneedle or something like that.
The wheel are pretty light, although some Tune hubs should shave some weight.
