Thx, it´s a good start, but somebody told me he felt better with minor adjustments. Be careful measuring your body lengths, it will helps a lot. Nevertheless i think it´s a very accurate fitting system, i helped a lot of people here in Spain in a famous forum (more than 5000 people) and everybody feels better riding and more powerful indeed. I was riding with this fit for 10 years without pain or injury, and i´ve done more than 100.000 km.
I hope it helps. Regards.

Do you give permission to publish it on a Brazilian Forum(with your credits of course)?
Leandro
Sure and without credits too.

Thx
No. But it's a good guide. Of course it can never replace a professional fit but it's probably a good place to start off.
It´s enough because there is a fixed proportion with other measures in the top part of the body (trunk). I tried to simplify it the most i could. With 2 measures you can fit your bike very well. I have a more complicated spreadsheet considering trunk length, frame angles and the height of your shoes and pedals, but it´s a matter of few milimiters, so i decided to publish the easiest one.
Just fit your bike according to the s.s. and feel the difference, then you can do minor adjustments (no more than 1 mm everytime), till you feel completely ok.
For example, i calculated "the best stem lenght" as an aproach, for setback or non setback seatpost (mtb-road). It´s not very accurate, because i haven´t considered frame angles, but you will find that your best stem length is exactly what i suggest.
The correct procedure is this one. (if you have the right frameset size or at least not very wrong)
1.- Fit your saddle height
2.- Fit your saddle-b.bracket setback ´
3.- Fit your saddle nose- handlebar axis lenght, and choose your best stem length according to your top tube length.
4.- Fit your saddle - handlebar height.
That´s all. I´m not a newbie and this is not just another internet fake, i´m engineer and cyclist till 1990, give me a chance and your body will thank it to you

All the above I do not argue however there are things that the spreadsheet cannot cover. Leg length discrepancies, pelvic asymmetry, spinal issues, cleat positioning etc.
I am sure that there are some who will find the fit fine for them.
However human beings are by nature asymmetrical and not perfect and will not always fit to formula.
I still maintain that it is a good guide and the amount of work put into the spreadsheet is evident.

I'm hopeless with computers, and cant seem to be able to get them to open.
Keep being told that the "CRC integrity test failed. The archive file is corrupted and cannot be opened."
I've tried downloading them twice, same thing.
What am I doing wrong???

I have downloaded right now and it works, try it again. And remember you need winrar
Winrar link was broken, now it works.

I say it again especially for "Tapeworm" ..... this is a very good guide-line to start with!
All systems are guide-lines no fit is exact.
