I have been trying to find their website or a weight listing I could trust on this new chain. Cambriabike has it listed as 229g .. which I find hard to believe.

http://cambriabike.com/road/chains/index.htm

I think these chains are made in taiwan.. and a website I found looks like a user's personal website:

http://home.earthlink.net/~kmcchain/english/index.html

No weights listed there. I suppose if it's a mystery maybe more will buy it!

Have you heard about the new Campy Record chain? It's got holes in it!
Somebody got crazy with a drill!

Yes, I'm familiar. I have one on backorder and I think they wont be here in the US until February (unfortunately!).

I called Cambria. Apparently the KMC is not available yet either.

This is the official website:

Anyway I also wasn't able to find a weight for the X10 on their website.

Is it possible to use the new campy record chain on shimano ultegra/dura ace cassette and crank?

Cant see why not, a friend uses 9sp Duraace chain on Campy 10sp gear.

Not sure about that. I am sure the DA spacings are a little different than the Record ones, so I wouldn't use the record on DA. Might work, but shifting would not be great.

Finally got hold of one off these chains, the weight was 254grams for 114 links, pretty damn good for a chain that does not even have hollow pins. Runs great on Dura ace 10 speed.

I wish I had known that KMC weight sooner - I just got 2 campy c10 ultra chains monday and the KMC is quite a bit cheaper for just a few grams difference.

I'd be interested to know the weight of the new Wipperman Connex hollow pin chain.
