I am having trouble finding a fork. Here are my considerations.
*White Bros-- any 2003 model ?????
*Rockshox--- Sid Team, Duke Race, Sid World Cup
*Manitou----- Skareb Super, Skareb Platinum, Black SPV 80
*Fox---------- F80 RLT, Float R, RL, RLT, F80X
*anything else highly reccomended by you guys
I dont have a problem buying off clasifieds- I prefer to stay with newer forks (2003-04). I kinda have a budget issue with only $350 to spend. I AM GOOD AT FINDING BARGAINS--believe me!

I would recomend the Fox Forx for their reliability, stiffness and damping ability.
If your light you can ride the SIDs but for heavier riders the Foxs are a must - unless the Manitous are as good as they claim, I've only had a chance to ride their DH forks in the last 2 years.

I'm from europe, and only know the metric system. How many Kilo do you weigh? If you're under 70 k. Choose the SID world cup.
Good luck with that!

Now i gotta find a World Cup under $400. Hmmmmmmmmm now we have problems. If you ever see one for around $400 US tell me. Thanks
don't get a world cup, its not worth it. Get a sid team, they're lighter and they're actually easier to adjust. A guy I worked with at a shop was building a lightweight FS for his wife, and had the option of getting a world cup but went with the team, because it is lighter, WAY cheaper and only a little less stiff, but you're pretty small, so flex shouldn't be an issue

Ive heard about breakage problems with the Sid Team. And leaks. And stiffness issues. I am small, so I guess stiffness doesnt matter. Anyway, I found a good deal on a Fox Float RL for $379 US. Shipped. Should i go for it?
if stiffness, plush travel and durability are key for you, then absolutely. If you are a total weightweenie, run away screaming.

It only weighs about 3.7 pounds. I think i can deal with that for the performance it gives. What do you think about its performance vs. weight?

The retard canceled the deal on the fork. He raised it after directly telling me the price. I guess I'm looking at an F80 RLT now. Any advice on where to find one cheap in the US ?
