I have considered a carbon crankset of some kind, but right now my liquid assets are somewhat limited :? One thing a like about this group is the color...

I've been told that the frame weigh around 1400 grams, but I'm not sure, and I don't know yet, what the entire bike weighs.

Haha, Gravengaard, didnt know that you came out of hiding from Trommeslageren.dk :D Don't know if you remember me, but I was on the same forum, as Kermit, probably most famous for my Pork Pie snare in Kermit Puke sparkle :D

But very cool bicycle, love to see it in real life!

And welcome to the forum.

Mojn Kermit - ja, jeg kan da godt huske dig!! Er du ikke derinde mere?

Well, I'm just a bikefan like so many others, and when I'd finally got my greasy hands on one of those beauties, I couldn't resist the temptation of showing it to the world - and get many envy comments ;-) (where are they btw?)

That Trek Y Foil is the fastest looking one I've ever seen. Those wheels look like they slide thought the air.

You need to change your avatar! With a bike like that you don't have to look so serious (o_o)'

And people say Treks are boring!

It's an awesome bike & I bet it rides well also.
Take care of it!

IMHO it's only missing a big 56T chainring... looks like you could use it too with all that speedy equipment. :)

Thanks a lot!!

Actually I've sworn, that I never would buy a Trek, because they are so common and in my opinion quite boring to look at. But then I saw this bike in the danish pendant to Ebay, and bought it after 4 months or so, until the price was at a level that I could pay for ;-)

But it's a special bike and many keen cyclist have turned their head at least twice to look at this beauty 8)

She's pretty and mean at the same time - a true piece of art!
