Very nice Morten! I am soooo sorry that I don't have Speedplays anymore...

By the way, do you anodize you things your self? I have thought about getting my BB cups anodized to match my componets and bike perfectly, but don't know where to get this done...

No, not my self. I use a firm on Fyn with the name AluNord.

Very nice made.
But if you plan on using it for travelling in a suitcase and not just the workstand, I think it would be much better to make a full length axle to support the chain stays + seat stays and prevent them from being squeezed together.

Among others Pro Bikegear http://pro-bikegear.com makes a full lenght version. This version fits both MTB and roadbikes, by adding an extra 5 mm spacer for MTB use:

I think this would be an easy tool to make on your own. Just need a spare cog and some pvc pipe that fits over the skewer. I was thinking that you could use a spare skewer as well but you can just use the one on the wheel you remove from the bike.

I am guessing that the spare part in the picture is to go from 130mm to 135mm.

I am thinking this might be my next little project for working on the bikes. Very slick.

But you also need something to mount the spare cog on, as the inner diameter of cogs is much bigger than the axle diameter. Unless you use a pulley wheel instead of a cog, that might fit the axle and the pulley cartridge/slide bearing would make it spin easily with a chain on.

Or some alloy tube. I think I have some alloy tube with the right diameter. It's easy to get small alloy tubes in hardware stores.

You could even use an axle from an old hub instead.

Yes, I also mentioned this in my previous post. Smart and easy way to make it fit both road and MTB bikes.
