I've had a useless BTP seatpost clamps. It broke at 50% of recommended torque, I posted it back and customer service was zero. So careful.
But the clamps are still working fine.
I have a btp seatpost clamp as well- good thing I got it for next to nothing. The bolt broke (using a torque wrench) which was easliy replaceable, but the clamp does not hold well (even w/ tacx paste).
I can say the shifter clamps are working quite well (saved 20g on the weight of my red shifters) and I have one of their 13g bottle cages which has been in use over 2 years now w/ zero issues.
I had the front der. clamp on my old frame (new one is a braze on) and it worked, but was difficult to get set up.

I had no problems for 2 years until my bike fell over recently and one of the clamps cracked. Now I only have one BTP clamp on. It s pretty cheap way to save weight and even if it cracks, you can still hold the lever to shift and brake -so I wouldnt really consider it dangerous.

Ask and you shall receive... I have BTP carbon clamps installed on 3 bikes but I could only find one good picture of one bike.
1) Bianchi XL Carbon (pictured) with FSA Plasma stem/bar combo - no bar tape/exposed clamps, ~15000+ miles. I did break one clamp when I hit a pot hole at the ~4000 mile mark. Approx speed - 30 mph. Cracked the band part of clamp half way, shifter was still very much attached. Replaced with a new carbon clamp.
2) Specialized Tarmac with Zipp SLC2 bar - no bar tape/exposed clamps, about ~2800+ miles. No problems. Have had 2 crashes. In both, shifters sustained some impact with no adverse affect to clamps.
3) Cervelo SLC-SL with Zipp SL - taped bar, about ~250 miles. No problems.
So far in all 3 applications, very good service from clamps.
Advice: When on the hoods, make sure you ease up on the shifters (not applying much weight) while going over pot holes. In my mishap, no one called out the pot hole and some of my weight was leaned into the hoods. In this instance, carbon clamps can crack. Luckily only one cracked.

GK. Don't drill out the clamps unless you're willing to accept catastrophic failure. (Which, of course, I know you don't. Anyway, I think you said this in jest.)
But if any of you are remotely thinking about doing this, bad idea.
Each clamp is as light as they're designed to be, no less. Doing so will surely make them even more susceptible to cranking.
But if you're crazy enough, don't let me stop you.
