Will the Mission control handlebars fit a 98' Mantra/medium frame? Are they lighter than a typical set-up? Why did they stop making them?

Will the Mission control handlebars fit a 98' Mantra/medium frame? Are they lighter than a typical set-up? Why did they stop making them?

The Mission Control (MC) won't fit the 98 Mantra, only older Klein frames as Adroit, Attitude and the carbon Mantra's. MC1, MC2 and MC3 has another diameter than ordinary stems. If you have an old Mission Control with handlebar and stem (not ahead) it might fit, i'm not sure. The problem with the MC is that the odd size (diameter), you could'nt get another fork than the one it was born with. Today you can get some adaptors, so you can use whatever fork you want.
