Does anybody know anything about Ritchey's WCS™ Protocol Wheels ?

Weight? Price? Availability?

Comments? They look nice to me... not too far from AC, as design and appearance.

Bye, BENZ.

If you ask me they look like a blend of Ksyriums and the AM Classic wheel. Rim depth looks like 25-30mm, and the spokes on them are huge, just like ksyriums. I think they are available early next year, guessing a retail of $700, ritchey wheels usually arn't to highly priced. Available now if you buy the Fuji 04 Team Issue.

Ciao Benz,

Ritchey uses the American Classic Hubs!!!!

Comprati le ruote AC ti conviene  !!!!
Mi scuso per gli errori grammaticali  , ma a scuola marinavo spesso le lezioni di inglese :D !!!

Can you explain me the price difference between the USA en Italy?

Italian Shop
MARCA: AMERICAN CLASSIC
CR-420 LIGHT REVOLUTION
Rim:34mm
Ray: Sapim CX-Ray.
Weight: 1.345g with Titanium Skewers (by American Classic)
PRICE: 446.95 (EURO)

American Classic official Price:
Standard Build Frt Wheel $335.00
Standard Build Rear Wheel $464.00
Ti Skewer Upgrade - $40 a wheelset.
Sapim CX Ray Upgrade - $100 a wheelset
Total Price USD 938 = 780-800 Euro

Bye bye
Delpi

The only way that's possible is... I don't really know!

Prices on AC site are probably "end-user", while Italian retailer accesses to "importer" prices.
So I guess that Italian retailer applies smaller charges to wheels than Manufacturer itself!

I admit that those are only theories... If anybody knows exact reasons... let us know please.

Bye, Benz.
