Hincapie, Eisel (???) and some Bouygues Telecom rider were on carbon wheels...
Boonen was in good form today, Cancellara aand Ballan didn`t had a chance, Maaskant had a good ride too.

Impressive ride from Maaskant!! Considering he's almost a neo pro, at least at this level!! 12th at the Ronde and now 4th! Very talented guy.

Was it just me or did Boonen have a new Roubaix? The top/down and headtubes all seemed bigger than normal.

the Zerds in the rear fork is longer and has a curve en looks like the front of the frame has the same characteristics of the tarmac SL2

Apparently Maggie cracked both his rims on pave #18. (DNF)
High profile carbon rims I read. Anyone know which ones he was using?
But honestly he is a big guy and riding carbon rims when all others ride super strong alu wheels... Hincapie to.
I thought they were smarter than that.

according to tech reports he was on 303 front and 404 rear. not too surprising as you said he is a big guy thats rather tough on his equipment.
