De-Fluffing of legs
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
You know when the racing season is nearly ready to start when you spend an evening shaving the legs of the winter hair growth. Gave up on the idea of the razor and just went for the elite hair removal cream. No hassle but the wife is not to impressed with the smell of the stuff......

I tired an expensive and supposedly advanced eplilator last year. After all, I'm a tough guy, right!
I survived the hair-pulling. I survived the irritated skin afterwards. It was the infected pores after that that did me in!

Euro-rule number... Don't remeber the number, BUT I do remember the rule... Legs are to be shaved all through the year.
Hell yeah!

Yep. I do it becuase the wifey likes and I use warming cream/gel/oil in the winter and it makes a huge mess with fur.

Just a tip,
But Qoleum sells a sportswash that has a small percentage of denatured Alchohol.
That stuff after shaving and after rides has basically eliminated cloged pores, ingrown hairs saddle sors etc... I only use it on my ass and legs as it's not cheap, but
It's fookin brilliant.

I get the worst off with the beard trimmer then resort to Mr Gillettes finest stainless steel.
I'm sticking with the Chubacca look for a while yet though, as its still bloody freezing here!
Anyone go with false tan to avoid that 'pink legs/blue knees look? Or, is this forbidden in the Euro cyclists code of conduct?

Arms of a sprinter, legs of a climber, lungs of a smoker!
I cycle, therefore I am.

I'll have to try that out... I keep my pins smooth year round (Hawaii weather = no hiding indoors during the off-season). Normally I maintain it with a panasonic epilator, but nothing beats a gillette fusion with gel. only bugger for me is that i get ingrowns above the knee on the back of my legs... drives me insane. so, i'll have to give this Qoleum stuff a whirl!

It's forbidden. The tan is to show how many hours of training you've done.
Hell yeah!
