it's probably hard to appreciate the gradient on camera.

I think the problems that the car has at the top is a pretty good indicator...raining and can't get traction on the finishing line, but still must be steep to have to be pushed over the crest .
Now imagine that thing being 8 times longer and you have the Angliru
actually, what is the hardest finish to a race?? Genting Highlands must be up there?? excuse the pun...

I'm getting disillusioned on a 50 which is only 3 laps!
That or the stage in this years Giro that finishes up the Fedaia. Not too bad unless its absolutely throwing it down and the straight sections turn to soap....

If you're going to include distance in the equation, then RAAM has the toughest finish: begin your finishing kick around 500 km out .
