Axles in front and rear Crossroc hubs spin on a pair of so-called "sealed cartridge" bearings. You do not need to buy them directly from Mavic as they are very common 6000 series, which you can get cheaply in any bearing's store. Freehub body have 2 regular ball bearings just like Shimano hubs.
