Are there any clear and concise instructions anwhere on the forum on how to post photographs/images?

You take the pic and upload it to a website that lets you do that. Like Photobucket.com

Then you put [img]before%20the%20link%20and[/img] after it. Like this:

Just without the spaces. Like so:

Here you can select the box right to "IMG Code", it includes the tags so just paste (ctrl v) that here and you're done!
