Just saw on the Trek blog that Astana will be running Lightweight discs on their TT machines.

When someone commented on seeing the pics of a Lightweight, Scott Daubert replied:

"The TTX in the photo has a Lightweight disc because that's what the team will ride in 2008. It will eventually have a Bontrager decal on it. The Aeolus disc project has been cancelled - too expensive and timely to manufacture."

Does this mean that Trek will only be used by Astana and not the Discovery team any more?

Guess Bonti couldn't get the process down since they only manufactured a disc for 2 years. Previous ones were Zipps I do believe.

So Bontrager actually produced their own discs? The old ones were Zipp, but I thought the new ones also were Zipps?
Hell yeah!
