aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

i don't want to experience this. you know you're gonna crash soon, but have to go on with pedalling because if you stop you're crashing immediately anyway.
do i really want to start track racing?

yes, track racing is fast fun and furious. bring it on. I think they are all OK from what I've heard. no serious injuries, apparently.

I was there. They were probably going nearly 50 kph when they fell.
It was bloody lucky that there was that glass barrier there or one rider would have gone straight down the stairs!
Typical junior riders, see someone come past and swing up the track without looking!
If that had been masters racing they would have all gone to hospital for broken bones. Young kids seem to bounce much better!

It was on CNN last night too. Indeed lucky they weren't more seriously hurt.

This reminds me of the 40-man pile up at the US Jr Nationals this year... that was scary as shit! It happened ~20m in front of me at 65mph and somehow I bunny-hoped two guys

Do you mean 65 kph? If 65 mph, then Juniors are faster than in my day.

65MPH.

The race started at the TOP of a mountain. Dumb, DUMB idea. The Junior 15-16 Men were kept to a 30MPH max going down, which was still pretty fast for that decent. They were delayed 1.5hrs because of us.

*Note: We were going down hill...
