Which chain to use for D-Ace 10s?

I'm sure this might have been covered already, seem to remember someone suggesting to use a Campy chain with a powerlink to connect it - but, whats chain/s do you guys reccomend for D-Ace 10 speed and reasons why? Shifting performance / Durability etc....

Campy of cource, works well and nothing last like it. And cheap+light.

Ultra or Std. Orginal Shimano has somethin similar with rubber band...

i think the wipperman connex chain will out last a campy. they also have the new connex 10s1 & 10s0 for shimano 10 speed. 10x1 and 1011 which is the hollow pin version for campy.

campy is good, but wipperman i think has proven to be the best. does anyone else make a chain out of stainless steel?

Pardon? You cannot use a 9 speed chain with the 7800 DA or the 6700 Ultegra. The proper Shimano chains for these 10s groups are just fine.

The 7801 might not be as durable as the Wipperman and Campy, but the shifting action and overall smoothness cannot be matched by any other chain in the market right now. It even does wonders for noisy Campy drivetrains

Who says 9s? Most Campy's are 10-speed...

I've been using a 9 speed DA chain with DA7800 rear mech, for over 2k miles.

alot of people report that it(connex chains) shifts 100% and they have a new chain now thats 6.2mm dont how that would work with campy.

I think you mean Ultegra 6600 not 6700.

6500 - 9spd
6600 - 10spd
6700 - ???

I really like the KMC X10 chain. Better longevity then the shimano and has the "quick link" thingy. Not used the wipperman, but don't like shimano chains.

You have to use 10sp chain with 10sp stuff, will wear your cassette. Shimano and Campy 10 speed are slightly different in the width of the chain, but work. The extra thin shimano chain wears so fast it is a huge pain.

Shimano = 5.88 mm
Campy = 6.2 mm
KMC = 6.2 mm
Wipperman = 6.2 mm

As you can see most tailored aftermarket chains are campy spec. If you notice poor shifting in a shimano drive train from the 6.2 chain, your only real option for the 5.88 chain is shimano 7800 and 6600 chains.
