I'm thinking a Project 7.3kg Joe

By the way, I finally got my bike built up. 9.6kg is perfect for my racing needs, although following your example, bits and pieces will be changed over time. It's always an evolving ride.

This is the bike at his best. Further WW is possible with some minor changes, but i do ride it as is. Perfect for dry conditions and my weekly rides here in the neighbourhood. The bike will be seen on Expo-Velo Brussels.

Enjoy your rides.

So you actually ride Maxxlite 310s? I thought that was impossible  Now thinking maybe I could get away with that too. Currently running Kozmik Lite II which have very little tread, mostly hardpack and fire road here, no mud. Some road riding too... Should I really try to "use" maxxlites?
Wouldn't it be nice if people actually read what you wrote before responding?

Thats a lovely build you have there Joe! Are those Powerarms? Also what chainrings are they?

I see you dont have any bar end plugs. Is that wise? :?

I have a nice scar on my thigh from a crash when I had bar plugs, I'd hate to think what would have happend if I didnt have any!!

For dry conditions maxxlites are do-able. Pressure is 24psi in the tires. But i admit that Twisters SS have more grip in the corners and while braking.

Those are PowerArms indeed, with square taper: Tune AC38 and Carbon-Ti rings.

About the barplugs you're right...It's not wise, but i've some Schmolke carbon plugs that i'll put in there.

Here's a pic of the rear

$mokeyjoe, can you compare your Tune concord with the Speedneedle you had before in comfort and durability? Awesome bike. And what about the twist shifters? Are they ok?

Batas, i would like to invite you for the following reading: http://www.fairwheelbikes.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=84

Here you can read the reviews i've written about both saddles. I prefer the Concorde as it has a better shape for my butt.

Shifters are ok, but don't expect a long lasting life. And try to avoid mud with them. They're mainly made from plastic. The weight is very low, but life expectancy also.
