Surely, losing the spacers would allow a positive rise stem?

Edit: didn't notice it was a bar/stem combo.

looking at your sign I see that you mention a Scott addict. Did you buy that being told it was an addict? I can't tell for sure, but from some of the details I noticed, it looks like a CR-1 painted white to me. The silver aluminum dropouts was the first thing I noticed, as the addict has carbon dropouts, and the seatstays looks beefier and more flared that that of the Addict. Lastly was how the rear seat stay appears to be a wishbone setup akin to that found on the cr-1. Just looking out, making sure you were not being taken for a ride. shock:

Regardless, nice rig! :D

Same thing as I was thinking. This looks more like a CR1 than an Addict taken the above written arguments in mind...

Exactly the same thing i was thinking! Most definately looks like a CR1 to me....
Beefy rear, wishbone, alu drop-outs on fork (also at the rear!!),headtube section not as bulky/boxy looking as on Addict, so yeah,.... this has to be a CR1.
Nice looking bike though, but swap the stem/bar combo...doesn't quite do it for me...

In the movie "The Matrix", Chuck Norris is the Matrix. If you pay close attention in the green "falling code" scenes, you can make out the faint texture of his beard.

Very nice, but the stem that steep makes it look.....awkward. Looks very fast though.
