Tonight I'm starting a new build-up.

Hereby the build list:
frame: Merckx Premium
fork: Easton EC 90
headset: FSA
top cap: Easton
expander: Easton
stem: Ritchey WCS 110
bars: Deda Newton classic bend
bar tape: Fi:zik
components: Sram FORCE
brakes: FRM Team/Ti gold
brake pad holders: Jagwire
brake pads: Swissstop green or Corima red carbon
seat post: Tune alu gold 31.6 with FRM gold/Ti collar
saddle: Selle-Italia SLR-Ti white
bottle cages: Elite INOX
pulley wheels: Token Tiramic gold
pedals: Speedplay Zero Stainless 'Tyler Hamilton'
cables brake + derailleur: Nokon gold/silver
wheels: -Hyperon clincher+Veloflex tyres and Record 12-25
-Dt-Swiss MontChasseral+Gommitalia typres and Dura-Ace 12-25
-Ambrosion Excellence, Chorus hubs, Sapim spokes+GP4000

I'm aiming for the 7kg because the frame isn"t the lightest.
Looking forward to give you guys the first pic's.

How did you get the frame with carbon stays ?
What color are you getting it in ?
Are you working for Merckx ?

Finally some pictures.
I'm not raelly happy about the FRM golden brakes.
They are soooo light an dlook so nice on the bike but I think I'll end up at the side of the road in a descent...Maybe change them for Campa Record black brakes. But that will cost me another 100gr...

Beautiful. Black brakes would be nice, but beautiful.

I like it!
Sweet, but i would change the gold seatpost and brakes. The seatpost gold is too much for my taste, especially since it does not match the stem/bars and the gold color of the frame (which is muuuch nicer), but well, tastes vary

wow thats bling baby!! i agree with strobbokoen if i was you i might look at some of the new white components that have recently been on the forum cant remember who they were by now but the ritchey stuff needs to go as its not really up there with the quality of the rest of the bike. i would also go record on the brakes or maybe the new neg g?

Like a few said before. Get rid of the stem bar and post. Since the rear triangle is easton I would go for easton ec90 stuff
Some nice 0G brakes to complete the build. In this way the frame gets the attention it deserves.

Nothing wrong with ritchey stuff though.. I used some on a bike where i removed the colored parts of the prints with acetone. It looked sharp actually
Cool bike, maybe a FSA white seatpost and stem would be nice?
