any thoughts on the route? I like the medium hilly stages, and the lack of prologue and team time trial should keep time gaps small going into that hard few days in the Alps.

Isn't it back to the old format so no hassle, ASO will choose the teams they want. Or is it still regulated by UCI?

ASO has full control, and that will be the problem. min 5 frensh continental teams..
