It's not on cyclingnews yet, but was just listening to the radio and they announced that Di Luca has lost all his points, and Evans had been elevated to the lead of the pro tour. Not sure how accurate it is, but they had to have pulled it from somewhere.
This board would be a nicer place if everyone would take themselves less seriously.

I'm not surprised. The UCI was going to be in an interesting situation if they had to award the points winner to a suspended rider. Good for Cadel! After getting robbed at the Tour he will finally have something to celebrate.
- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago

Agreed - though I think he would've preferred to be awarded it on his own merit after Lombaria, but hey, you never know, he might win Lombardia and Di Luca's suspension wont affect it.

I think this was a stupid suspension. Why weren't all the clients of Ferrari suspended?

Seems to me that they are desperate for Evans to win something without actually crossing the line first. I hope he justifys this pro tour win by winning on Sunday

sadly he didn't but you have to give him some credit for consistency throughout his long season.
