Further to Superlite's frame thread, I'm going to get an FRM Brama F frame. It comes with their headset and I'll use the FRM F350 fork (unless the Alpha Q Sub3 is markedly lighter).

The rest of the components are up for grabs, here is my list for now, any suggestions would be welcome.

Frame: FRM Brama F - 1350gm (list)

Seatpost: FRM ST-R 21 Carbon - 155gm
Saddle: Seele Italia Evolution3 - 118gm

FD: Campy Record 2004 - 91gm
RD: Tiso 2004 - 174gm
Chain: Campy 10s - 262gm
BB: FRM CU2 Ti 102mm - 136gm
Cranks: Gass TORSK 175mm - 402gm
Chainrings: Tiso 53x39t - 82gm

I take it you like FRM stuff!

Nice looking machine though.

Would personally stick with campag record 2004 rear mech (184g) rather than the Tiso one (177g), but hey, it wouldn't do for us all to be the same.

The stated weight of the new 2004 record ergos is meant to be 324g.

Hope your dream machine rides as good as it looks :D

why dont you go with the Cat brakes instead of the FRM. and stick to the Campy 2004 Rear Der. instead of the tiso.

Which is why the Tiso RD. I am thinking about the CAT brakes, but the looks of them kind of turns me off, I'm still thinking about them though. If I could I'd like a set of the old MRC brakes, they would look cool with the wishbone rear stay.

I put a lot of FRM on because it's the lightest I could find in the sizes I need without buying things like Mg stems, and also it's an FRM frame, what else should I put on it? Plus I do find FRM stuff lasts and is well designed.

I don't know what the final bike will weigh yet, I'm still assembling all the pieces and then I'll have a weighing session.

If you decide to get the cat brakes i know someone who can get you a deal on them. i bought my fsa cranks from him for $250 he doesnt have the superlites hard to get (so he says) but he also has a pinarello Dogma ego (only 199 made)

everything he sells is new, and the Dogma ego is about $8000, saw this bike on http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CC ... UCT.ID=154

they want $16,000 for it
