Alan, that’s just what I have done, that and a set of campy clinchers for hacking around on.

Matt

Ps. Ride with one of your latest signings on a Sunday with Azzurri, quick…

I lived in Canada for a few years, I couldn't handle the cold on 2 wheels... when it got that cold it was out with the skis and ice-skates instead,

One of most stunning (proper) winter bikes i've ever seen, genuinley jealous! Can't believe you can get proper mudgaurds on there. Looks amazing. very very cool, puts many race bikes to shame. 8)

the above link is mine and it's pretty solid, I'm saving my pennies right now for 3 months bike touring through S America early next year but next winter I'll take this one step further into my ultimate winter bike with a titanium frame, still fixed gear with full guards but a ti frame for immunity to the salt and wet, Honjo polished mudguards (sorry, fenders) and ceramic rims, though that's unnecessary really 'cos there is only a brake on the front and that doesn't get used much as most is done with my legs.

here's mine, ridden almost every day through winter, if you ride in the UK through winter without mudguards two things will happen.. you'll end up riding alone and your bike will get trashed.

Makes the cold evenings a bit warmer. Stickers will be changed into the 2008 version.

I'm embarassed to show mine!!
A £200 Dawes bike, with stick on mudguards, a powertap SL, a tl1100 cateye rear light, and a lupine wilma8 on the front. Same lights as Alan, spooky.
Guess who rides mtb?
