Was a pretty good story. A friend of his was in a bad accident with a car when he was out riding. He woke up on his hospital bed and his first words were, "I guess I need a new bike." So the guy I sold it to and some of his other riding mates got together and built a bike up for him with my frame and some other bits they got together. Looks pretty good IMHO.

This friend... He's name isn't The Lakerveld? A friend of mine had a terrible crash when a car came over the wrong lane and allmost smashed him to death. He's (and I :wink:

) from Norway. He's back on the bike now.

adenladen, I do not know the person's name who was in the accident. I delt with a friend of his through ebay.

Well if he's on the bike in the photo then that's him.

At any rate I hope both he and your friend are doing well.
