Did anyone from here do it?

I was chatting to a chap wih a lovely Parlee Z3sl but he dropped me as soon as the road went upwards Then a combination of physical and mechanical hitches meant I cut the ride short to the 55 miler in the end.

Next year...

Yeah, I did the 100 mile event. Some mechanical issues, but a final time of 6:24, which put me 5th. Enjoyable day out, apart from putting the first feed station 3/4 of the way up a climb.

After checking the results again, it was actually the 6th quickest time. At 6h 24m.
