Mountainbikers use versions similar to them. We mash-shift regularly under massively nastier conditions than roadies will EVER experience....and they're pretty solid (search the MTB forum). Can't say the same for anything sram!! (rear derailleurs).
Updated: Racing again! Thought this was unlikely! Eventually, I may even have a decent race!
Edit: 2015: darn near won the best South Island series (got second in age
-group)..woo hoo Racy Theremery is back!!

I am going to have to stop reading this forum so frequently as it is getting more expensive everyday! Yesterday it was KCNC Ceramic deraileur pulleys and today 2-sets of carbon fiber inner/outer deraileur plates for Dura Ace deraileurs. :D

Seeing as I am in the US and the OP is in Europe, I am not expecting that the inner/outer plates I ordered will be delivered for a week or two more.

I ride with the carbon outer and innerplate and the carbon jockey wheels as well for more than 400 kilometers now without any problems. I can change gears very easily.
It's all between the ears that this will lighten the bike. I cannot feel any difference that my bike is now 35 grams lighter.
Installation was very easy and the only thing that I had to do extra was fine tuning the gears again.
