First I must thank Troy @ Ligero & Lee @ LEW racing for my first ever carbon tubular wheelset.
Here are the pictures Troy sent me :-
Total weight is 1215g my current clincher wheels with a PT SL hub are over 1500g.

WOW ROB.
Do I love your wheels - YESSSS
They look really fine. Did you know that the 2.4 hub is available in all-black in 24-hole configuration.
That would allso have been very cool - totally stealth then
Nice weekend - ebsilon

Have you ridden them yet? I wonder how stiff that back wheel is with that few spokes... probably not stiff enough for me...
My CAAD 9 BB30
Just a small update, I've now finally received the wheels Troy kindly built for me. Took just over 3 weeks, spent a week @ Customs.
Quick check to make the Powertap is working and it is...So now to pop down to my LBS to get myself some tubular tyres.

Here's the wheels on my Cervelo R3.
The LBs had a lot of difficulty trying to fit Conti Competition tubulars on the LEW rims.
Yes the tyres were pre stretched but it needed 2 guys to hook them onto the rim and they felt I would have a real issue if there was just me on the roadside trying to get the tyre on/off.
So for tubulars they went for the Conti GP4000 with chilli compound. Because of the seamless design these tyres were bit easier to get on. As these are my first tubular wheels I went for puncture protection.
The Cervelo now weighs 14.08lbs.

I've been thinking about rims for a powertap. This wheelset wins hands down! I'm off to buy a lottery ticket.
Best of luck-
Even the folks at Lew know that these wheels will require regular truing and attention. At this spoke count and lightness without the integrated hub/spoke/rim you can count on it. So either you are very handy with the spoke wrench and like to pull your tires off frequently or you have lots of cash to throw at your LBS or you don't plan on putting the miles on these wheels. Either way I look at this, it is a compomise.......
Supposedly, Lew will be revising the manufacturing strategy on the integrated wheels so that they will be machine made, thereby significantly reducing the price, but not the quality.
