Anyone able to advise on hubs that are super fast running (I've experienced others which are crap)... Considering builing some superlight wheels and can get Zipp 250 rims for about $370 each. Sound like a good price?

take a look at the extralite ultrahubs. 162g for the rear and 62g for the front hub. they look pretty sweet. http://www.extralite.com/Products/ultrahubs_anglo.htm
the whole wheelset might be under 1000g - pretty damn light.

I know what you mean. I know it doesn't matter much if the seals make it slow in your hand but I like them to spin.

I built up a nice set of race wheels with WHite Industries road hubs...90 front, 265 rear. Not the lightest, but quite nice.
