If you loosen the front screw and tighten the back screw, it'll tilt the saddle backward.
And if you loosen the back screw and tighten the front screw it'll tilt forward as you asked.
Simple system really.

If you accidently had to, could your bike take a smaller downhill ?

if you tighten the front scew you will see the point of the saddle going down. Loosening the rear screw at the same time will prevent excessive stress on the saddlerails. The adjustment of "point of saddle up and down" are pretty acurate with this type of seatpost.
Good luck.

if i got him right, he didn't want to know if the saddle can be adjusted either this or that way BUT if you can adjust the saddle (the clamp) that far the saddle wouldn't be horizontal but to make the nose "point down" a little...
i can just talk for the tune-clamp which is not absolutely equall but quite similar - the "adjustment-range" is veeeery small and in fact there's only one optimal position - horizontal rails. for the schmolke it seems to be different as the two pieces which hold the saddle-rails are round thus allowing more travel without harming the rails (as the sharp-edged tune-clamp would do if the saddle was too steep in one direction)
*edit*
correction - the schmolke actually has the same clamping-type as the tune. nearly no adjustment-travel here without "marking" the rails (i messed it up with the ax-post, which uses a friendlier version of this clamp)
