Aerus Carbon fork

I just received the Aerus carbon CX fork ( www.aeruscomp.com) The listed weight is 380 grams, got mine home and weighed it-----650 grams. It has a carbon steerer tube as well. I didnt think something with so much carbon in it/ on it could weigh so much. My all Aluminum Specialized stock fork with a cut steerer tube is 750 grams.

Hopefully, the dampening will make me ride a ton faster :)

I guess it's carbon-wrapped Al.
Or the fork has some hidden lead inserts. :D

you have the cross fork its claimed to be 664g, yours is lighter, you should be happy about it, the 380 g fork can`t be used with cross tires!
