Time to introduce my bikes, I reckon.

First, the winter hack bike (!)

Image

Not really a WW bike, I admit. Record cranks, Chorus brakes and Centaur everything else. This one takes a lot of abuse, and never misses a beat. The Zondas are pretty impressive wheels; virtually indestructible.

The other bike is for any time I don't want to ride the alu Soloist.

Image

This replaced my R2.5, which was much more of a stealth bike. With this, you just can't afford to hang around. It screams "Look at me" and "Try to ovetake me". Eurus are very dependable; as tough as Zondas but lighter. This is all Chorus.

And finally, the real treat:

Image

The Eurus looked good on an R2.5; the medium profile rims suited its thinner tubes. But the wider tubes of the CS cried out for deeper rims. It was a tough call between LWs and Boras, but Casran put me onto a pair of second hand LWs which sealed the deal.

I've yet to take the SC out with the LWs ... waiting for the right day :D

I hope you lock your doors. That's some seriously good looking bikes.

good grief, they're breeding. Very nice. I'm the same with a 'Storck lineup'... can't have too much of a good thing :D (unless it's got lots of fat in it... )

Really this Soloist Carbon with LW wheels is nearly perfect :!:

This Wolf fork is with carbon or alloy steerer tube? What's the weight of it?

-> currieinahurry: yes, it's an ergomo. I have an ergomo bottom bracket in each frame, and switch the computer between the two bikes. If you look carefully you can see the cable taped to the bottom of the downtube on each bike. I use coloured duck tape to match the frame. On the CS, I used red, white and black to blend perfectly with the colours of the frame. Check your pm for info about the LWs.

->record: the fork has a carbon steerer. I didn't get a chance to weigh it; it came with the frame and was built up by my LBS before I got my hands on it.

-> all: thanks for your comments :D . I will try to weigh the CS + LWs at some point in the future. Oh, and apologies for black bar tape. But my fingers get mucky easily, and I'd end up changing white tape every week :!:

Wow... nice bikes and the LW wheels... goes without saying. Your backup bike is in great condition for a "beater".
