best bottle cage for mtb ?

What are your experiences, and which bottle cage do you think is the best for mtb.
I dont mind if they are carbon, titanium, aluminium or Stainless steel I just want a cage that wont throw bottles.

Price is not a concern, but function/performance is no 1 followed by weight.

Yes King Cage Ti get my vote aswell. I have shown some photos of mine on this thread.

Whilst carbon maybe lighter King Kage grip the bottle really tight, don't mark the bottle and don't wear out.

I like the Elite Ciussi Inox. It is on my bikes since 1999 and never failed!!

Julien Absalon and others pro have this on their bikes.

King ti cages have variable weigh though. I guess some are as low as 24g, mine weighs 35g.
I can always sand a little bit though

I have got 3 King Cages and all of them weighed the quoted 28gr!

Pfff I've seen a Ti king cage fail in it's first year of use, they are not that light either. I say gimmick. Despite every fibre of my being disliking their bikes, Specialized rib cage gets my vote.

Bontrager carbon xxx lite gets my vote! Beautiful, light (27grams) and no single bottle lost in one year of competition.

I guess everyone has different experiences. I had a couple of Specialized Rib Cages - first one dropped the bottle three times in 5 minutes on the first ride and I resorted to carrying it in my back pocket and ditched the cage when I got home. The second wasn't much better.

If you want cheap, relatively light and holds a bottle I can't go past the Cateye BC100, damn ugly though.
