MarinTi works at my LBS. I thought the frame would weight <1300gr and he said 1340gr, so that’s why he says that is heavy.
And i don't care that much; I think my complete bike will weight less than his ‘SS 29er’ and waaaay faster. Sandro you are doing a great job
The set up will be:
Fox F80X 2006
AMClassics-Sapim-NoTubes Olympic disc
Ritchey wcs alloy stem, seatpost and bar. This is temporary, I’m planning something more exotic but I’m still a student…
Avid Juicy 7 2007 (180-160)
XT Cranks-TA chain rings
Xtr front derailleur
X9 rear derailleur (temporary this is for the beach races. It will be XO)
@Thijsje; if you would ride a normal (26”) bike and not a cyclocross bike I would have beat you last year. But I would like to race you this year

Beautiful frame. Well if you take in to account the bosses (probably 30g) and the 22g clamp, you have some room to play with.
I really love the look of that carbon
Do any frame manufacturers make any carbon mtb frames for around $400-450?
I've seen some on ebay, but I'm not sure if they are really carbon or just any alloy covered in carbon.
