315 gram with Al bolts and TA Hegoa chain rings: 440g: 60g less than Record 2004 carbon

I'm not getting negmasses conection in the middle. How strong does that conection look? And aren't the two cranks going to want to bend right at that conection? I'd like it more if it was a taper fit or something that would make the two more secure.
Of course I haven't seen them and am not an engineer.
