hmmm, easy answer. since you already have the money, get the lightweights, should you consider something else yes, lightweight "obermayer" which are lighter.

if you have the money why not get the best wheel on earth? are lightweights better than zipp 404, YES :!: :!: :!: do others think, that zipp's are just as good, yes, are they wrong, no; but alot of the pros ride them over and over again - i guess its on you to make the final choice.

lightweights are higher, tighter tolorance wheels very few made per year, less chance of seeing them on the road (bragging rights  ) and they require less maintenance.

you got the cash, you like them, buy them.

It's not a set of lightweights or a set of zipp's. But a Lightweight disc or a set of zipp's.

Marco Fan: It's a question we can't answer. What do you want?? 8)
Where do you use it for? TTing? Then go for the disc. Crits? Then go for the Zipp's.

Why not wait and save up for a pair of Lightweights? They are worth the wait....

Ow okee, my fault. sorry

When you know you can buy the front wheel a year later. Then go for the lightweight rear wheel.

Marco Fan If I were you,I'd buy the pair of Zipp, the pair of Zipp will be much more effective than only one Lightweight.
If you have money to buy the front Lightweight one,buy the rear one and order the front one,if no,go for Zipp. You can't be disapointed.

with only 1 lightweight, will your bike become a unicycle?

or do you already have a front wheel?

I have this question too, what are your other frontwheels? If you have some good front wheels, I shouldgo for the LW
