Shouldnt the seatpost collar go the other way since the relief slot appears to be on the front of the seat tube???
Probably not a big deal, but I would have to agree. It would guarantee a more even pressure at the gap in frame.
Madcow? Should I turn it around?
I love the shape of the SL's. I started riding them this summer and found them to be plenty stiff. I bought them to replace a set of Kestrel EMS Pro SL's that were damaged and the Zipp's were just so much lighter in the oversized and they were a shape I could live with.

Wow, and I thought we were getting spoiled with RTW's bike recently, now two exceptionally classy bikes, yikes
How does it ride though, thats the most important thing? And what tuning did you do to the 4-Axis?

The tuning was just replacing the bolts with titanium ones. It drops about 6 grams.
The ride:
Yesterday was the first day I could actually ride outside and do the shake down ride. I did make a couple of adjustments off a couple of hours on the rollers and it must have paid off since the allen keys I brought with me stayed in the jersey pocket and probably thankfully so to the team mates that rode with me. We were a three man group working together riding into the wind. It was 28 degrees at the start ride and the wind was blowing from about 15 to 25 mph. With it being somewhat of a windy and cold day we only rode 40 niles but coming back with the wind we flew back in the bike felt very sold and confidence inspiring about 30 MPH on the way back in.The frame is very stiff and the ride was very firm yet big hits felt very muted almost carbon bike like in nature. The bike responded to any input instantly. The Claviculas preformed excellent. Pushing down on the pedals just created power to push me forward. I don't think that cranks get any stiffer than this and the bearings felt all so nice! The front end is definitely quicker than my previous bikes and I would have to assume that is because all of my other bikes have always had a 73 degree headtube angle where this frame is slightly steeper at 73.5 degrees.
Overall I am more than 100% pleased with this bike. The fit is superior to my other bikes and it's just a freaking rocket. I can't wait to get out and ride it today to re-enforce my opinion. Although with today expecting to be a little warmer I think that a metric century in the bare minumum of the continued testing!
