The alloy is also a nice ride. My buddy had an alloy before the carbon. I can ask but from what little I have ridden both, they are very similar in geometry with obvious differences in the charachteristics of the different materls. I can ask him what he thinks....

That would be brill.
I just thought up the build i would like and is as follows:
(Please excuse the funny order)
Campagnolo Eurus Clincher Wheelset Black
Campagnolo Chorus 2007
Cervelo Soloist Team Alloy Frame 56cm
Continental GP4000 Clincher Tire 700c x 23mm All Black
Deda Elementi Handlebar tape White
Fizik Arione Limited Edition Team Saddle Black/ Silver
ITM Forged Lite Luxe Stem 110 mm stem
ITM Millenium handlebar 44cm bars
Time RXS World Champion pedals
£2118
or £1838 with a Centaur 07 group but then i loose the carbon crank.
This would be a very long term build up though due to the costs.

Shame that.
He's not a whole lot on description but my buddy tells me that there is no comparison between the Alloy & Carbon Soloist frames. The Carbon is heads & tails better & faster than the Alloy. He says he feels it corners better & really jumps when you stand on it. He says the alloy version is still a great frame just not as great.
