Go with the columbus muscle. at 300 its 370g uncut, and great ride. I have the super muscle, 400 and 336g uncut and super smooth. Check out colorado cyclist to see if they have any super muscles left, they were on sale for 299.

Hi Joel!

This tape is the tape that uses the tennis players on their old rackets, it´s a plastic tape, no much comfort but you feel straight the handlebar.
Many people used it on their fishing rods too.
I don´t know the weight but it´s less than the normal tapes.
Euskaltel-Euskadi uses in white color this tape and other riders too (only available on white and black).

Thanks jam,

I always use Ambrosio/Bike Ribbon plastic tape, but they don't produce it anymore. Then I saw that tape and it was quite thin, so it will be +/- the same. I don't like the soft and thick cork ribbons. Where did you buy it?

The plastic tape that I use and that's about the same as Jam's - I think - is about 1-2mm thick. It's a little bit thinner than cork, but it is not soft. It's like the new carbon tape, but a little bit harder and it is only 2cm width (carbon 3cm) so you can mount it thinner

Here in Spain there´s a trademark (Kuips, who mades the Costa de Almería-Paternina Professional Team GSII frames), it also makes forks, handlebars, seatposts, ...
It has a fork in full carbon that weights 295gr (official weight) and it´s quite cheap, 210€ (I think less than 200$).
the homepage is www.kuips.com I think you can mail them and ask.
i also have a carbon handlebar from the same trademark.
