I think they might definitely be the dark anodised ones.

Ooo come on please..... it's just the light conditions (a night criterium)!
En then, even if Mavic would have made some special wheels for him, would he use them in a stupid criterium?

Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!

Could be of course but just compare the color of the spokes with the color of the rim:
normal ksyriums: spokes and rim have the same color
this one: to me its clear that the rim is darker then the spokes
Brilliant like the Guiness ads: "Brilliant"- e.g. the six pack? and beer in a bottle?

Brilliant like the shine on a non-existant rim, dark anodised version

Bejeezus!
Just because two things are the same colour, doesn't mean they reflect light the same under all conditions. The spokes are painted silver, and the rim is anodised/polished, of course it behaves differently under different lighting.
Doesn't explain those Giants though!
Could not resist: the Shimano crank dead thread: anyone who knows anything about alum finishes and has looked at the crank in controlled lighting situations knows (not guesses) that there are two different anodized finishes on the cranks- one is clear and one is grey. It is not about light reflection or any other nonsense, there are, I repeat, two finishes-[/code]
one question about the shimano cranks, what would it cost to anodised them? does anyone know where that could be done?
