Took him for a ride this morning through the hills. Great ride! I'm so excited! Didn't want to go home!

Superb Hyde, I really like that frame, but why the SRAM-Shimano mix?
Sorry, but I have to say that I don't like the stickers on the wheels as much as I like the bike.

Same here, exquisite nice bike, ugy wheel stickers!

Nice to see you dare a combination of Shimano 9sp shifters and derailleurs, an SRAM carbon crankset and Mavic brakes.

I hope you enjoy the bike. I've noticed you've been longing for the frameset for some time now.

Whoa........damn those things are sexy!

Are those stickers or photoshop on the wheels? Nice set up, get that steer tube cut pronto . Those seatstays have always struck me as cool. I would have figured that they would cause the ride to be a bit, rough. Quite the contrary, smooth as silk.

So it's unanimous, no-one likes the decals  The stem is cut, I'm going to put some miles on before I decide on a final height. Mr. Merckx would likely charge me $800 for another fork  THe Sram Cranks cost me $200 & the rear cassette $35. I had a lead on the rest of the Sram setup but the shifters alone were $500. I decided to stay with 9 Speed for now & the whole dura ace package only set me back about $400. The mavic brakes I chose because i wanted something in black & I keep hearing good things about them...I wasn't dissapointed & though they aren't ultra light, they aren't exactly heavy either.
But on a final note the bike minus cranks, cassette & chain was 13.4 lbs. so I'm guessing about 16.5 w/out my heavy pedals. Not ultra light but ultra fast

Veerryy Sweet!

I dont suppose you weighed the frame before you built it up??

No, I really should have. I was in such a hurry to get home & start assembling everything that I didn't even think of it.

Sweet frame, very impressive

But is it really a mix of SRAM force with Shimano when your just using (basically) a truvativ crank thats been avaliable for ages...:?

Call it what you like...It is a carbon crankset that looks great, shifts really well & truly is pretty damn light at 776g w/ bottom bracket & rings.
