Hey everyone.

I wouldn’t usually do this, however I just heard terrible news: A friend of mine (Peter) got hit by a car or motorcycle (reports are unclear) during a training ride today (21st Aug). He suffered from VERY serious injuries, including subcranial fracture, craniocerebral injury (brain damage), several broken bones, and sadly, longterm or permanent damage is likely.

As a gesture a different friend has signed up for a contest, to win a trip to Majorca with the intention of donating the prize to Peter when recovers.

If you could help with this, I would appreciate it. It is for a good cause.

I just tried to get as many votes as possible, the real benefactor is the user "Nopain" from a forum called bikeboard. He signed up for the contest long before the accident happened, and had good chances to win the mallorca-trip. When he heard about the accident, he immediately said he would give it to Peter.
