-Lance is rinding Bontrager xXx Lites, no aerobars
-Ullrich uses LW rear and Xentis front!
-Basso is using AX-Lightness brakes! (well, he's not using them  but he has them on his bike)
Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!

Jan looks slow, but his time doesn't.

I'm guessing he's practiced climbing with the bars many times.
I wouldn't have thought the bars would have made much difference when climbing.

20g too light huh?

Looking at LA's skinsuit, what is the pocket on his lower back?

In Armstrongs pocket is a radio.

Why didn't Ulle use the front LW Ad'H and a Schmolke aerobar to get closer to 6.8kg?
Success is how far you you bounce back up after being knocked down

looked a bit like an aero advantage.
I know that camelbacks are illegal due to their aero advantage :?

Even if Ullrich did, he still wouldn't have made up his 1:01 deficit to Lance.

Lance crushed them all!!

His form looked very good.
Not sure why Jan didn't aim for 6.8.

Looks like Basso will strugle in future stages.

...because weight isn't all that important. In real life conditions no one is going to loose time over a few hundred grams.

Rough calculation: every 100 grams cost 3 seconds.......

In calculations but that's all theory and not real life.

That's BS... in a pack style race theories like that don't always work but in an uphill time trial you go faster when you're lighter, period!

How much does a drinking bottle weigh?? I saw them drink a couple of times so during that time they were losing time, right
Also, Jan was pushed aside by a fan, that cost him also a bit of time.. like divve says, those theoretical 3 seconds/100g is next to nothing when other factors beyond bike weight can make you lose a lot more.
