Hello!

When moving my Campa Record 2005 Ergopower over to my new Zipp SL handlebar,
I found that the screws and nuts that are used to lock/fasten the Ergopower controls to the
handlebar (screws EC-RE203 on http://www.math.chalmers.se/~palbin/heavyscrews.gif )
are made of steal and are very heavy, 25 gram a pair or so, and I would like to have them
in aluminium instead: Where can one buy/order such aluminium screws?

Best regards, Patrik Albin

Ive got a set that Bernhard posted out to me 2 days ago (hopefully arriving today or tomorrow).

my lbs acused me of being a "tart" in going to such extremes.

The highly exotic parts my lbs cant source, Im getting from starbike, BTP and extralite and the lbs is supplying the remaining parts.

at 6Kg exactly (paper build), its likely to lightest bike they have ever built up.

Hello!

My bike will also be very much around 6 kg exactly, and I am at sub 6.3 at this very
moment, still having a lot of improvements to implement! Obviously, screws are very
important if you want to go really lightweight!

I also use a lot of Extralite stuff, and it is beautiful! I have custom modified my Campa
Record components myself! Together with some light standard components (Zipp SL
handlebar, Zipp 404 and Campa Hyperon wheels, Time pedals etc.)

In fact, I have a 1250 gr Fondriest Clarus frame (albeit with the fork exchanged for an
Easton lightweight one), so if I switched to a 950 gr Fondriest TF1 Evoluzione (which
I have ordered, but which cannot be delivered at the moment because of problems at
the Fondriest facrtory), I would rather be sub 6 already, heading for 5.7!

Best regards, Patrik Albin

OT: Tippster, have you thought about the Easton Ascent II wheelset? 100grams lighter than the Mavic ES and about the same price! :D
