Not terribly interested in the frame - anyone can build a 1300g Aluminium frame - but what's the verdict on those cranks? :)

In the movie "The Matrix", Chuck Norris is the Matrix. If you pay close attention in the green "falling code" scenes, you can make out the faint texture of his beard.

maybe but this frame is a fantastic handling frame - stiff and responds quick on the tracks! Best alu frame I have tried so far!

The cranks are good - probably not as stiff as xtr but stiff enough! Got to be carefull when installing the cranks and there is more maintance because it doesn't feature a sealed bottom bracket! Other than that it's light and feels good!

Wauw - looks really nice! Thanks for sharing!! Do you have a spec-list of the bike? I would like to see what kind of tuning has been done to the bike! The seat/post assembly and a road cassette looks a little too showroom ;-)

I did some trimming today - cut the steerertube and adjusted the oliepressure in my Spinner fork! Too much olie made it too progressive!

Weight is now 7,83 kg! It's going to be hard to beat 7,4 kg

i wish i had the actual build list, i found that picture on this forum a few months ago...the bike definitly has some "showroom parts", but i did read in an interview of uli fahl that this is his everyday bike...

i am a big fan of having actual mountain bike parts on a mountain bike even if it adds a few grams, id rather be able to race it and not worry...

the zemper looks great, i think they make some very classy looking frames...goodluck with getting the weight down a little more...

Hey, maybe it's just a cold consolation, but at least your bike is a beauty to look at.
The Scott may be a fine (WW) build, but I find it pretty ugly. All the yellow and green.
And look at the bright side, the previous 4 pages of this post, you were probably thinking that you already had the lightest mtb with discs! Now you have yourself a bit of competition. Hehe.
Keep up your tuning, nice to follow it here.

At a moment I thought I had it but... now back to work :-) I don't think the scale is that ugly - maybe the green tune parts aren't my first choice but it still looks fine! But - I'm more interested in the girl in the background with the golden dress

and thanks :-)
