Carbon wheels that weigh about 1200g a set for 800 dollar?
Are all the other carbon wheels so much overpriced?

Yes. I'm afraid it's one of the cheaper Carbone Wheel Sets. A very good one is the Corima Aero wheel set. It costs 753 Euro. I haven't seen any cheaper one yet! And the reviews are very positive. You can order it directly at: www.corima.com

Unfortunately, many are. For a more economically-friendly wheelset and IMHO a better overall value, I would go w/HED3s over Nimble Crosswinds.

Does anyone know if those FLY rims are the same as the Velomax Accent II carbons?

If not... Does anying have any information on the Velomax low profile carbon rim?

No. The velomax rims used are the same ones produced by reynolds. Check out the Cirro SV wheelset at www.reynoldscomposites.com same rim, but with White Industies hubs. Hope this helps.
