get rid of the ksyriums, get yourself some nice tune wheels.
rip the cover of your saddle, saves grams...
Get a Tune "Wassertrager" bottlecage
Syntacy F99 stem

Nice Bike.....
Light one too..... but it's not a real weight weenie bike yet......
You could get some ZeroGravity calipers, lighter wheels, Syntace Stem, Easton or Schmolke bars..... you could drill some holes in it as well.....
Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!

Hi there,

The other guys are right that's one sweet ride. They are right though, ditch the bars and stem, as for the wheels there are lighter ones out there but I'm a fan of the SLs, as they are reliable wheel set, so it's up to you. Keep the padding on you seat for comfort ;-)

Syntace stem, Schmolke bars, zero gravity brakes, but more importantly Tune wheels with Tufo tyres. The wheels alone will make a huge difference. Nice bike.

Weenies tend to be Naim fans - must be something to do with that stripped down, functional feel.

Campy record 2004.
Although with a FSA team issue isis crankset in 180 mm (get a pair now only 50 pairs left to buy at fsa who will not produce 177.5 and 180 mm in the future)
American Classic isis BB
Tune Stem,Seatpost,waterbottle holders.
Selle Italia SLR saddle.
Ritchey WCS bars (I pull and tear a lot) tried wcs carbon and Schmolke before settling on the aluminium WCS.
Bartape deda.
Nokon cables
Training Wheels are the new DT swiss 1.1 rims, 32 Sapim laser spokes in 3 cross, and Record hubs, Record 11-23 cassette, Record skewers (although I might put tune skewers on instead)
Conti GP3000 for training and Supersonics for racing.
Race wheels haven´t decided yet, My weight does limit the options in that area. Lightweights are very tempting but not sure I need them.
Because of the dissapointingly heavy fork (470 grams) the total weight is 7.3 kg´s with GB 3000´s and well 7.17 with supersonics instead.
The tune stem is heavy too (165). Record brakes where chosen intentionally after trying out the "old" cat usa brakes I opted for the Records stopping power. I realize I could easily gone further down in weight but have opted for a more robust setup since I´m a heavy rider of 87 kg´s and 1.96 meters.

Here´s another pic of the bike. The fork is uncut on the pic (now cut to 2cm inserts) and seat post height and bar angle is not set up properly.
